- Abstract
- The Royal Yatching Association (RYA) UK Coastal Atlas of Recreational Boating (Published August 2019) utilised information from clubs and other sources, as well as racing information from previous datasets. This dataset aims to provide a more complete picture of recreational boating activity in UK waters, by providing the location of indicative general boating areas. This reduces gaps in data coverage where AIS data are limited, whilst providing more detail of activity in inshore and estuarine regions in particular.
